Motorola Business Manager, and Business Associate

Location: Beijing
Pay range: 6K-15K RMB for Associate, and 15K-22K RMB for Manager per month (for 12 Months per year); salary can be adjusted according to experiences and qualification.
Start: Immediately as full-time or intern (in case candidate needs to start as intern before graduation. Can be converted to the full-time after graduation)

Do NOT need Beijing residential card (不需北京户口)

Position is in growing Mobile Phone and Service Business Unit that produces mobile phones and provide services to true global market in all five continents and generate USD100 million gross profits and over USD1B revenue per year.

 

Requirement:

1         Achieving top-performer at school and/or work with strong professionalism, dedication, and intellectual capacity.

2         Workable and likable (outstanding communication and interpersonal skill, humble and positive attitudes, strong common-sense, and hands-on and down-to-the-earth work style)

3         Had intern-or-full-time experience (no length limited but understand the reality of corporate life and work environment, and mature and accountable).

4         Excellent spoken and written English (CET6 excellence or Tem-8 level passing, or TOEFL, GRE, IELTS scores, or oversea study/working experiences)

5         Result-oriented thinking (commitment and dedication, whatever-it-takes mentality)

6         Take constructive feedback effectively and act quickly to show the results

7         Understand a working and organizational knowledge of the executive's duties

8         It is plus but NOT required if candidate possess interest and knowledge of wireless/telecomm industries, computer applications, and basic computers programming.

Responsibilities:

9         Assist the director to run overall business ops of a business unit that generate USD100 million gross profit and over USD1B sales

10     Work with truly cross function teams to deliver business results, including portfolio, R&D/Engineering, Product line manager (PLM), Strategy, Platform and solution, Supply Chain/Procurement, Finance, HR, Legal, and the like.

11     Define detailed processes for both portfolio operation and engineering operation

12     Assist Director to organize and host executive level meeting (like meeting with Motorola CEO) and cross-function meetings inside and outside the Business Unit, and with Suppliers and Customers.

13     Remove disconnections among teams and work barrier across organizations, and improve overall business and organizational efficiency

14     Conduct business and operation analysis and reports; read and create financial reports

15     Integrate and create Product Gate review process (biz and engineering) and Gate review templates and checklist

16     Provide by-function checklist over product development life cycle (pricing, services, tech-spec, savvion, procurement, SC…)

17     Maintain weekly and monthly Product and Operation Review drumbeat/schedule for product and operation decision

18     Define and maintain web-enabled business operation for “Workflow” automation and digitalization.

19     Draft correspondence and memos, compile reports, conduct research, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
