Job Title: Analyst
Job Location: Shanghai, China

BASIC FUNCTION

Work independently, or as an integral part of a project team, to develop predictive models, conduct simulations, perform ad-hoc analyses, and design analytic reports while supporting a specific business area, including marketing, risk management, and customer services. Participate in general efforts to build analytical capability.

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Participate in specifying appropriate modeling/analytic solutions to meet business requirements.
• Responsible for data preparation, including sampling, data pulling, aggregation, and other data preparation treatments.
• Develop predictive models while ensuring that business objectives, requirements, and timelines are met. Perform simulations and general ad-hoc analyses to provide insight into strategy design and economic decisioning frameworks. Communicate modeling and analytic results to business partners and management in a clear and effective manner.
• Work closely with business partners to implement models and decision strategies while providing necessary documents, answering questions, and resolving issues.
• Provide input and consultation to business partners on various statistical issues.
• Identify and share programming knowledge and organizational expertise for efficient and effective execution of project tasks.
• Effectively prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines
• Engage in continuous learning to maintain a high level of currency and competency in statistical and analytical principles, tools, and techniques.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree is required in a quantitative analysis field such as Engineering, Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Statistics, Management Science, or Finance. Ph.D. is preferred.
• Strong computer and programming skills.
• Familiarity with statistical and analytical tools.
• Excellent English communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
